Why a Colonel built a platform
I sat the NDA exam myself. I studied in a Sainik School. I served in the Army for 33 years, and for a portion of that time I was the Registrar at Sainik School Goalpara — responsible for exactly the kind of students who come to Shrey Aadi today.
When I retired, I saw what the market offered these students: generic test-prep apps that lumped defence exam aspirants in with JEE and NEET students, ran on outdated question banks, and offered no real expertise. Nobody who had actually served was building for them.
So I built Shrey Aadi. Not a generic EdTech product — a precision tool for NDA, CDS, AFCAT, Sainik School, RIMC and CBSE students, run by people who know what these exams actually test and why they matter.

After retiring from 33 years of service, Col Vishal Sharma began developing the question bank and platform architecture. The focus: build something that a Sainik School student in a tier-3 town could use with the same confidence as a student at a premium Delhi coaching institute.
